My cat"s name is Stargirl. She is a computer cat. Here's her story:
When we first when to see Stirgirl for the very first time, she didn't have her present name, it was Gabriella. She was originally going to be my sister's cat. She was going to name her Search. We drove all the way from San Fransisco to San Jose. We got inside the house, and saw four tiny little kittens running, zooming actually, around the house! They were two boys, both grey, dark brown, and orange tabbies. Two girls, one an orange, black, and white calico, and a brown, grey, and white dilute calico. I instantly fell in deep, mushy love with the dilute calico, which looked a whole lot like a soccerball. My sister fell in love with the calico, naming her Search. We left an hour later. The next few days, I was thinking about my kitten, thinking of the perfect name. I just couldn't figure it out!! Then my mum came to pick my sister and I up from summer camp, to get our kittens. I was so joyous!! We drove back to San Jose, to pick them up. We got to the foster mother's house and sped through the front of the house to see our kittens, and to bring them home! Search raced into the cage while my kitten slowly walked in. We were driving when my mum asked us what we were going to name our felines. My sister instantly said Search, sure of herself. I took a moment, looked at my kitten, sticking her tiny paw through the cage towards me. "Stargirl", I said, "Her name is Stargirl".
It all started from there.
One day, two years later, I was doing my homework when I heard a cat purring next to me. I looked over and saw Stargirl. She jumped up onto the rocking chair I was sitting on, looked at the computer on my lap. "Purr, purr, purr" I looked at her then at the computer, then back at her. She was staring at the computer.
"You wanna come up?"
"PURR, PURR, PURR!!!!" she said as she jumped up on the computer. She then, plopped herself down, onto the keyboard.
Now every time she sees the laptop, she plops herself down on either the keyboard, or the mouse pad. That's my computer cat. She's on the mousepad right now.
