She sat there
In the field
Of wildflowers
Thinking and
Listening to
The birds
And their
Love calls
She sees
The trees
Swaying
Peacefully
In the Wind
Hoping
Of a world of peace

Death
She was gone
She wasn't coming back
She was gone
She meant so much to me
She was gone
Taken away on a train
Never to come back
She plummeted to her death
And she was gone
Running
Humid, warm
A good night for
Running
A long distance
A never ending road
A good night for running
Past the field of wildflowers
A good night for
Running
Away from home
A never ending life
Johnny
Blade in hand
Behind your back
Standing
Watching
The death of
A friend
Anger
Of earlier
Fight
The struggle
Of life
You walk forward
Then lunge
Towards that boy
You see your friend
Losing hope
The boy
Drowning friend
Laughing gangs
You see your chance
Spring forward
Stab him
In the back
You free your
Friend
From death
But death takes
Anouther

Abandoned on an Island
All alone
Those people
Left you
A water jug in
Your hand
A match in the
Other
You sit there
Thinking,
Did the sailors
Really know you
Did they know you
Enough to hate you?
Did they see
What kind of person
You really were?
Would they ever
Come back to
Save you?
No.
And they never
Will.
You get up
To view the scenery.
A parrot, a toucan,
A hippopotamus.
A fern, a rose,
A lily.
You eat a banana for
Dinner.
Talk about the
Pain of getting it
Open.
You see a ship.
A sailing ship.
You build
Hope.
Friendship
A link between two people
Often side by side
Walking down a hallway
Two friends
Good friends
Never fought
Never lied
Never tried
To run away
From each other
Good friends.
Dance
The floor is beautiful
With you dancing on it
A song so long
We shall dance to it
All night
With you
In my arms
My world
I live in my in my world
With a little honeybee
And a small little kitty
Sings:
Oh, little honey bee,
Buzz to me,
For your song is so
Pretty
The little honeybee sings:
Oh, small little kitty,
My song is so pretty.
The small little kitty replies:
But, little honeybee,
Please sing it to me.
Little honeybee sings:
Nectar, oh, nectar!
How do you seem to
Me!
I love you dearly,
Though, you are sticky...
My world is a song,
With Izzy and a kitty!
Rules
One rule after anouther,
You can't do this,
You can't do that,
Rules are tough
They tell you to
Live with it,
I will.
Help
I argue
It gives anger
I hurt
It gives pain
I cry
It gives sorrow
I scream
It gives hate
Help, I'm stuck,
In a world that's
insane........
Gangs
One gang against each other
Hate blocks them from one anouther
They fight, they call names
All is harm
Hate
From one to anouther
Thanks
You were there
We were in love
Deep love
Forever
We thought
You gave me memories
We went our separate ways
But, you gave me memories
I hate you now
You hate me, too
Still, I keep those memories
I love you.
Translation by Morgan Reichert
What we say:
Who's a good boy Fido? Who's a good boy Fido? You're a good boy Fido!
What dogs hear:
Blah blah blah Fido? Blah blah blah blah Fido? Blah blah Fido!
What we say:
Do you want some food Barley? Do you want some food Barley? Who wants some food Barley?
What cats hear:
Blah blah blah food blah? Blah blah blah blah food blah? Blah blah food blah?
Translation: Dogs and cats don't understand 95% of what we say.
New Year
Resolutions,
Streamers flying
Party horns are a cryin'
I am happy to see
I am happy to be,
Alive and kickn'
Here.
Friday The 13th
The black cat crosses your path
On Friday the Thirteenth
A mirror shatters
On Friday the Thirteenth
You walk under a ladder
On Friday the Thirteenth
A broom sweeps over your feet
On Friday the Thirteenth
It's a full moon
On Friday the Thirteenth
You get bad luck
On Friday the Thirteenth
There are 13 lines in this poem
Outsiders
A long, never ending
Road
Alone
I walk alone
I am a lone outsider
A lone outsider
My friends are outsiders
We all feel,
Alone
We walk,
Alone
That long, never ending
Road
Apologies
Humans, scared
Frightened
No hope
All dark
Spiders,
Crawling down
Your back
Frightened
All alone
Why?
Because,
You were bad
You hurt others
Even yourself
On the inside
"Names
Only names",
You think on the inside.
"But names do hurt",
A voice says
"They hurt real bad".
"I didn't mean to!"
you yell to
the invisible person.
"Yes you did"
it said again.
"Why must it hurt?"
you ask.
"Because, you choose",
it answered,
"Whether it hurts them or not".
I didn't want them to get hurt
I only wanted to show them how much
they hurt me
"They did not do anything to you",
remember, they asked to use your pencil".
"My special pencil, the one my papa
gave me before he passed on".
"I understand you are free".
the voice said.
I wake up, crying.
The next day,
I apologize to the
girl.
The innocent
girl.
The one that asked to
use my special pencil.

The Animals Are Calling
Have you ever been to an animal shelter? Have you ever seen how horrible of a life they are living? Millions of those innocent animals are put to sleep every year. You can do something to stop it.
1. Adopt animals from shelters, not puppy mills.
2. Volunteer, donate, do anything you can do to help.
3. Tell everybody to do the same.
Help save these animals, one creature at a time.

Christmas Tree Cats
Christmas 2008 was the kitties first Christmas. Here's how it went:
It was the first and only year our family had a fake Christmas tree. It was made so it spiraled up. The kittens, not even a half a year old, took a advantage of this, and did their absolute best to spiral, and claw themselves to the top of the fake tree. It was hilarious!!! The kittens would hold on as tight as possible. Their main goal: to get to the top... and they were serious about it. Well, remember this story, and don't forget, kittens + a fake Christmas tree = BIG LAUGHS!!!!

Stargirl

My cat"s name is Stargirl. She is a computer cat. Here's her story:
When we first when to see Stirgirl for the very first time, she didn't have her present name, it was Gabriella. She was originally going to be my sister's cat. She was going to name her Search. We drove all the way from San Fransisco to San Jose. We got inside the house, and saw four tiny little kittens running, zooming actually, around the house! They were two boys, both grey, dark brown, and orange tabbies. Two girls, one an orange, black, and white calico, and a brown, grey, and white dilute calico. I instantly fell in deep, mushy love with the dilute calico, which looked a whole lot like a soccerball. My sister fell in love with the calico, naming her Search. We left an hour later. The next few days, I was thinking about my kitten, thinking of the perfect name. I just couldn't figure it out!! Then my mum came to pick my sister and I up from summer camp, to get our kittens. I was so joyous!! We drove back to San Jose, to pick them up. We got to the foster mother's house and sped through the front of the house to see our kittens, and to bring them home! Search raced into the cage while my kitten slowly walked in. We were driving when my mum asked us what we were going to name our felines. My sister instantly said Search, sure of herself. I took a moment, looked at my kitten, sticking her tiny paw through the cage towards me. "Stargirl", I said, "Her name is Stargirl".
It all started from there.
One day, two years later, I was doing my homework when I heard a cat purring next to me. I looked over and saw Stargirl. She jumped up onto the rocking chair I was sitting on, looked at the computer on my lap. "Purr, purr, purr" I looked at her then at the computer, then back at her. She was staring at the computer.
"You wanna come up?"
"PURR, PURR, PURR!!!!" she said as she jumped up on the computer. She then, plopped herself down, onto the keyboard.
Now every time she sees the laptop, she plops herself down on either the keyboard, or the mouse pad. That's my computer cat. She's on the mousepad right now.

Coraline

What would you do if you found a strange key to a small, locked door to a parallel world? So, you open the door, and find a strange tunnel, where you find another small door. You open the door. You see your mother cooking. She never cooks. She turns around, you stare at her face, you see black button eyes. This is what happens in the book and movie "Coraline", to a girl with that very name who goes through an adventure between two parallel worlds.
Coraline moves into a strange apartment in the middle of nowhere. She goes outside on a search for a magic well, where she meets a "creepy" boy named Wybie, a.k.a., Whyborn. She goes back home where she finds her mother at, what a surprise, the computer. She goes to her father's room where he is working on a book on gardens and plants. He tells her to go on a search around their new home, where some of the strangest people live, such as a strange circus man with his trained mice, two "lovely" retired actresses living with their dogs, dead and alive. She finds a small door on her search, a small, locked door to be specific.
That night she hears the squeaking of mice, which she follows to the small door, which is no longer locked. She follows the mice through a small tunnel, leading to, what looks like the apartment she was just in. Little does she know that she is in a parallel world. As she is looking around, she smells something nice, she follows the smell to see her mother cooking, which never happens. Coraline asks for her mother, she turns around and sees the woman, with black button eyes and gets the reply,"No silly, I'm your other mother." So what would you do if you opened that strange little door and found a parallel world with an other mother? This is what Coraline did.
